1) Please contact your oncologist, oncology clinic, or general practitioner (GP) for concerns about your treatment or for questions about your diagnosis. These providers will also be able to provide resources that would best help your needs.

2) The American Cancer Society offers extensive patient support options. The website to check is: https://www.cancer.org/about-us/what-we-do/providing-support.html Part of their services is a 24/7 support line which offers “information, answers, and hope.” Please call: 1-800-227-2345.

3) There are many support groups that are specific to cancer types. You are probably aware of these groups already. This includes the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the Breast Cancer Foundation, and the Sarcoma Foundation of America. Many of these organizations offer patient support or counseling services. Please reach out to them for more information.

4) Local mental health supports are available in your community. Reach out to your oncology navigator and your oncology team for referrals. You might also discuss your needs with your GP or other healthcare provider.
